World & History

The study of history is the study of the past and how it has influenced the present. History is the same way: we can trace everything back to something else, even if we don’t know what that something else was.
Understanding how we got to where we are now, as well as why some things happen the way they do, is central to history. It’s a long and hard subject to research, and we’ll never know everything there is to know. We may, however, apply what we do know to make sense of the world around us.
