Late Triassic

The Late Triassic is the third and final epoch of the Triassic Period, spanning 237 Ma to 201.3 Ma on the geologic time scale (million years ago). The Middle Triassic Epoch comes before it, while the Early Jurassic Epoch comes after it. The Upper Triassic is the name given to the corresponding succession of rock strata.
