Kibo the Gorilla in Pictures

Kibo is a male Western Lowland Gorilla born at the Zoo Aquarium de Madrid in January 2022 to his mother, Kukeña. He lives within a social family troop led by the silverback Malabo and represents a vital contribution to the European Endangered Species Programme (EEP) for this critically endangered species. Known for his playful and active nature, Kibo has quickly become a favorite among visitors as he grows up in the zoo’s “Land of Gorillas” facility.
