Kesha is a Western lowland gorilla born on March 16, 2020, making history as the first-ever gorilla born at the Rostock Zoo.
She lives in the zoo’s Darwineum exhibit alongside her mother Yene, father Kwame, and her half-brother Moyo. As a member of a critically endangered species, Kesha serves as a vital part of international conservation efforts and is one of the zoo’s most popular residents.
