Ulca

Ulca is a male Western Lowland Gorilla who died on November 18, 2014. He lived to 33 years of age.

Born at Zoologisch-botanischer Garten Wilhelma on March 23, 1981, he was captive-born to parents Undi and Banjo.

His life took him across three European institutions. After spending his early years at Wilhelma until 1984, he moved to Kölner Zoo where he lived for over two decades. In 2006, he transferred to Jardim Zoológico de Lisboa, where he spent his final years until his death in 2014.
