Tabitha was a female Western Lowland Gorilla who died on April 14, 2007. She lived to 26 years of age.
Born at Toronto Zoo on November 6, 1980, she was captive-born to parents Josephine and Barney. At nearly four years old, she transferred to Calgary Zoo on August 26, 1984.
She spent the majority of her life at Calgary Zoo, where she lived for over two decades. Her death resulted from failure to recover from seizures.
