Sangha

Sangha was a female Western Lowland Gorilla who died on March 13, 2022. She lived to 21 years and 11 months of age.

Born at Zoologischer Garten Berlin on March 25, 2000, she was captive-born to parents M’Penzi and Derrik.

In June 2006, at six years old, she transferred to Gaia Zoo, where she spent the remainder of her life. After developing neurological paralysis, she was humanely euthanized at Gaia Zoo.
