Rivi

Rivi was a male Western Lowland Gorilla who died on December 13, 2008. He lived to 35 years of age.

Born in Africa on June 4, 1973, he was wild-caught rather than born in captivity.

Both parents were wild gorillas. Rivi spent his captive years at Zoosafari di Fasano in Italy, arriving there on May 3, 1994, and remaining until his death nearly fifteen years later.
