About Orungo
Orungo was a male Western Lowland Gorilla who died on February 25, 2016. He lived for just over two months.
Born at ZooParc de Beauval on December 11, 2015, he was captive-born and spent his entire brief life at the French zoo.
His parents were Sheila and Asato. Despite his short life, he was part of the important breeding program for Western Lowland Gorillas in captivity.
