Nimba is a female Western Lowland Gorilla living at Burgers’ Zoo. Born on January 31, 1999, she is now 25 years old.
She was born at Zool gic de Barcelona as a captive-born gorilla. Her parents are Machinda and Xebo.
Nimba spent her early years at Barcelona before transferring to Burgers’ Zoo in February 2006. She has made Burgers’ Zoo her home for nearly two decades since that move.
