Nache

Nache was a female Western Lowland Gorilla who died on May 25, 2012. She lived to 31 years of age.

Born at Zoologisch-botanischer Garten Wilhelma on October 7, 1980, she was captive-born to parents Mora and Banjo. At just six months old, she transferred to Zoo Zürich in April 1981, where she would spend the remainder of her life.

She died at Zoo Zürich from appendicitis after living there for over three decades.
