Kivu

Kivu was a male Western Lowland Gorilla who died on December 4, 2013. He lived for less than eleven months, passing away as an infant.

Born on January 21, 2013, at ZooParc de Beauval, he was captive-born to parents Inge and Asato. His entire short life was spent at his birth facility.

Tragically, chicken pox claimed his life when he was still very young. His death at ZooParc de Beauval marked the end of a brief existence that lasted from winter to winter of 2013.
