Kamari

Kamari was a female Western Lowland Gorilla who died on September 9, 2015. She lived only seven months, passing away at the same zoo where she was born.

Born at Busch Gardens Tampa on February 6, 2015, she was captive-born to parents Mary and Bolingo. Her brief life ended due to heart and respiratory failure while under anesthesia.

Kamari spent her entire short life at Busch Gardens Tampa, never transferring to another facility. Though her time was tragically brief, she was part of the Western Lowland Gorilla population in human care.
