Kaboko

Kaboko was a male Mountain Gorilla who died on July 25, 2012. Born on June 3, 2006 at Congo as a captive-born gorilla, his parents were both from the wild.

His care began at Gorilla Doctors Kinigi on March 1, 2007, where he lived until November 23, 2010. He was then transferred to Senkwekwe Orphan Mountain Gorilla Center, where he spent his final years until his death in 2012 due to gastrointestinal problems.
