About Jumbo
Jumbo is a male Western Lowland Gorilla living at Limbe Wildlife Centre. He is 28 years old.
Born in Cameroon on June 4, 1996, he came from the wild rather than being bred in captivity. Both his parents were wild gorillas.
Jumbo arrived at Limbe Wildlife Centre on December 17, 1996, when he was just six months old. He has remained there ever since, making the center his home for nearly three decades.
