Guy

Guy was a male Western Lowland Gorilla who died on June 8, 1978. Born in captivity in Cameroon, he was the offspring of wild gorilla parents.

He spent his life at the Zoological Society of London, where he also passed away. His death was caused by cardiac arrest.

Guy represented an important connection to the wild populations of Western Lowland Gorillas in his native Cameroon through his wild parentage, despite being born in captivity.
