Elroi

Elroi entered the world on 5 April 2021 at Kolm rdens Djurpark. He was a captive‑born offspring of Babule and Enzo, both members of the zoo’s gorilla group.

From day one he became a familiar presence in the family enclosure, which provides the climbing structures and social settings typical for his subspecies. Veterinary staff monitored his health regularly, and he grew alongside his mother, father and other relatives.

No transfers occurred during his lifetime; Kolm rdens Djurpark remained his home throughout. The studbook records list him as deceased, though a specific date of death is not provided.
