Cessé is a male Western Lowland Gorilla living at Projet Gorille Fernan-Vaz. Born in December 2005, he is 19 years old.
Born in the wild in Gabon, Cessé spent his early years in his natural habitat before arriving at Projet Gorille Fernan-Vaz in December 2007 at approximately two years of age.
Both his parents were wild gorillas. His transfer history shows he moved from an unknown location to his present home, where he has lived for over 16 years.
