CAB-12-01

CAB-12-01 was a female Western Lowland Gorilla who lived for just eleven days in 2012. She died tragically young from accidental injuries.

Born on April 24, 2012, at Parque de la Naturaleza de Cabárceno, she was captive-born to parents Chelewa and Niky. Her life was cut short when she died on May 5, 2012, at the same facility where she was born.

The cause of death was listed as a crushed chest and broken ribs, sustained accidentally. She spent her entire brief life at Parque de la Naturaleza de Cabárceno, never experiencing a transfer to another facility.
