BAR-00-03 † is a female Western Lowland Gorilla who died tragically young in 2000. Born on March 7, 2000, at Parc Zoològic de Barcelona, she lived for only one day before passing away on March 8, 2000.

Born at Parc Zoològic de Barcelona to parents Virunga and Xebo, she was captive-born. Her brief life was spent entirely at her birth facility.

Though her time was heartbreakingly short, she remains part of the Western Lowland Gorilla breeding program records. Her parents Virunga and Xebo contributed to conservation efforts for this critically endangered subspecies.
