About Banga
Banga was a female Western Lowland Gorilla who died on March 1, 2013. She lived to 21 years of age.
Born on August 19, 1991, at Zoo Aquarium de Madrid, she was captive-born to parents Muni and Bioko.
In September 2012, she transferred to La Vallée des Singes in France, where she spent her final months. She died there of pulmonary edema in early 2013.
