Ada

Ada was a female Western Lowland Gorilla who lived for only eight days in 1977. Born on May 18, 1977, at Parc Zoològic de Barcelona, she died there on May 26, 1977, from an intestinal infection.

Her parents were Yuma and Copito de Nieve. She was captive-born at the Barcelona zoo, where she spent her entire brief life.

Though her time was tragically short, she remains part of the documented history of Western Lowland Gorillas in captivity.
